Arbitrage participated in a consortium led by Duet, a global investment company, that submitted a bid to acquire a corporate non-performing exposures (NPE) portfolio collateralized by real estate assets, owned by Attica Bank.
As part of its role in the consortium, Arbitrage performed an extended commercial due diligence and portfolio assessment to support the lead investor in making an informed binding offer for the acquisition of the Kairos NPE portfolio.
Arbitrage evaluated a collateralized real estate portfolio sample consisting initially of 146 assets, based on information provided by the bank. It is also examined and assessed for each asset the current market values, marketability, possible capital expenditure needs and time to market.
